Warriors fall overboard, Sharks take a second bite out of the Warriors

The Warriors started strong with offensive pressure and solid defense but over 7 innings the Warriors couldn’t reel the Sharks back in.

The Warriors racked up 5 stolen bases. Luke Smith and Miguel Cintron racked up multiple stolen bags each. The number 9 batter Miguel Cintron showed depth in the Warriors line up by going 2 for 3 at the plate.

The Warriors manager, Matt Carter had this to say:

The Sharks are a solid team. They come with aggressive bats and some of the best pitching we’ve seen so far this season. I’m glad to see that teams like the Sharks choose to come and play league ball here at our hometown ACMBL. Teams like the Sharks make us all better. I can’t wait until our next match up this season and I hope to see them in the post season.

The Warriors take on the Sharks again on July 13th. You won’t want to miss our next re-match!
